Electrical Safety

Smoke Detectors

Safety. This is a word that has become a complacent symbol. As an electrical contracting company, it is our job first and foremost to inform the public about a functioning smoke detector. There is comprehensive overwhelming evidence that smoke detectors save lives. Take a look at the following link. To quote the NFPA,

The risk of dying in reported home structure fires is cut in half in homes with working smoke alarms.”

Automated Lifestyles Inc has answered the call. We have implemented a smoke detector program.

Automated Lifestyles Inc will:

Replace your existing smoke detector free of charge if it is greater than 8 years old.

Replace your batteries in your smoke detector if it is less than 8 years old.

Every 6 months we will change the batteries.

This is a free service offered by us. Your safety is our number one concern.

Surge Detectors

A surge protector protects all of your electronic equipment from a surge in power. What is not realized is the amount of electronics there are in the home. For example, smoke detectors, GFCIs, the ARC fault breakers in the panel, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, pool pump, AC, Hot Tub, Insta Hot water heaters, and many more. There are thousands and thousands of dollars of electrical equipment.

Over Time surge protectors go bad. Through many constant minor spikes, it is wear and tear on your surge protector. A comprehensive surge protector program is the answer to this problem to keep the highest degree of protection in the home.

Carbon Monoxide Detectors

A vast majority of homes have an attached garage. There are also many homes that have gas cooking and/or heating appliances. CO is a silent, tasteless, odorless killer. It is known as the silent killer. CO poisoning will start with a headache, and some dizziness. There is no distinguishing symptom that would send up a red flag considering CO poisoning. For these reasons, a CO detector is a must. Take a look at our safety page to see the safety plan that would best suite you and your family.
